Do Not Execute Jimmy Dale Bland!

Jimmy Dale Bland, OK

June 26, 2007

Oklahoma has scheduled the execution of Jimmy Dale Bland on June 26 for the November 1996 murder of Doyle Windle Rains.

The state of Oklahoma should not execute Bland for his role in this crime.  Executing Bland would violate the right to life as declared in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and constitute the ultimate cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment.  Furthermore, Bland claims prosecutorial misconduct and ineffective assistance of counsel.

Please write to Gov. Brad Henry on behalf of Jimmy Dale Bland!
