Opt-out of Pentagon's invasion of children's privacy
Write a letter to the editor
and help students in your area opt-out of the Bush administration's invasion
of their privacy.
Under Bush's "No Child Left Behind
Act," schools are forced to turn over student's private records, without the
student's consent, to Pentagon recruiters eager to fill the ranks for Bush's
war in Iraq.
Parents are forced to make a special
request if they do not want the Pentagon to automatically receive their child's
private information. Since most parents and students are not aware that their
information is being given away to the Pentagon, most do not bother to ask that
their private information be kept private.
Please take the time to use the letter
template below to write your local paper today and alert parents and students
in your area of their ability to keep the Pentagon from gathering the children's
private information.
After you have sent your letter you
will be redirected to the Leave My Child Alone website where you will be able
to:
1. See Cindy Sheehan speak in support
of the Leave My Child Alone campign.
2. Opt your child out of your local
school board's list.
3. Opt you child out of the Pentagon's
list.
